1. Platform Overview & Nature of Service
Workfry (“Platform”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), operating authoritative public services at https://www.workfry.com, is an online professional services and engineering consulting marketplace facilitating discovery and collaboration between Clients and independent Experts (Specialists, Consultants, and Engineers).
2. Platform Access Fee Distinction
All Workfry charges are platform access fees. They do not represent payment for the underlying professional services independently agreed between Clients and Experts.
Workfry is an intermediary technology provider. Workfry does not employ Experts, does not act as a general contractor or agent for any project, and does not charge percentage commission deductions on client-provider consulting contracts.
3. Commercial Model & Credit Entitlements
Platform functionality is accessible via standardized credit entitlements and memberships:
Client Project Posting: During the Workfry launch period, eligible Client project publication is temporarily free. After the launch period, the standard USD $9.99 Project Posting Credit (exclusive of applicable taxes) resumes automatically. Client-posted listings remain active for 7 days per publication/reactivation period. Drafting, editing, and previewing remain free.
Expert Single Application Credit: Billed at USD $5.99 (₹1,999 + 18% GST = ₹2,358.82 INR). Valid for 7 calendar days from activation. One credit confers the entitlement to submit 1 custom proposal and milestone schedule on an eligible project. One credit is consumed only upon successful proposal submission and database storage.
Expert Annual Plan: Billed at USD $299.00 (₹50,000 + 18% GST = ₹59,000 INR) per 365 days. Grants 100 Project Application Credits. Initial balance after activation: 100 credits. Effective base rate: $2.99/application when all 100 credits are utilized.
4. Credit Validity, Expiry & Non-Transferability
Credits are non-monetary platform accounting tokens. All credits:
Have no cash value, cannot be redeemed for fiat currency, and cannot be withdrawn.
Are non-transferable and cannot be sold, gifted, or assigned to any other account.
Single Application Credits remain valid for exactly 7 calendar days from activation. Unused single credits expire automatically at the end of the 7-day period.
For the Expert Annual Plan, remain valid for exactly 365 days from activation. Unused annual credits expire at the end of the 365-day term with no rollover or refund.
5. Non-Refundability Policy
All fees paid to Workfry are platform access fees and are final and non-refundable once the relevant digital access, project posting entitlement, project application entitlement, application credit, subscription or other paid marketplace functionality has been activated, issued, made available, used or consumed, except where a refund is mandatorily required under applicable law or for a verified duplicate or erroneous charge attributable to Workfry.
6. User Due Diligence & Counterparty Responsibility
Before entering into any user-to-user professional transaction, engagement, or contract, Clients and Experts are independently and solely responsible for verifying the counterparty. This includes, without limitation, independent verification of:
Identity, corporate credentials, and business registrations.
Professional experience, licenses, certifications, and portfolio veracity.
Technical capability, project scope, deliverable specifications, and feasibility.
Commercial pricing, milestone payment terms, taxes, and timeline feasibility.
Intellectual property rights, confidentiality, non-disclosure, and compliance with applicable laws.
Workfry provides the digital discovery platform. Workfry does not inspect, guarantee, warrant, or endorse any user-created specifications, representations, proposals, or underlying professional services.
7. Disclaimers & No-Guarantee Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Workfry platform and digital entitlements are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Workfry explicitly provides:
No Selection Guarantee: Purchasing a proposal credit does not guarantee that a client will select, interview, or accept your bid.
No Earnings Guarantee: Workfry does not guarantee that any Expert will generate any specific level of revenue.
No Proposal Volume Guarantee: Purchasing a posting credit does not guarantee a minimum number of applicant proposals.
No Project Success Guarantee: Workfry does not guarantee the completion, quality, or fitness of any professional engagement agreed between users.
8. Progressive Identity, Communication & Anti-Circumvention
Users must respect Workfry's progressive trust architecture. Direct off-platform contact harvesting prior to formal engagement acceptance is strictly prohibited and constitutes grounds for immediate account suspension and forfeiture of platform access credits.
