Legal Consulting & Contract Review Projects

Legal project work requires a precise description of your professional status, jurisdiction and permitted scope. Buyers may need advice, document review, research or administrative support; those services are not interchangeable. Establish the engagement and confidentiality arrangements before requesting sensitive facts or documents.

Define what you will deliver

Choose the outputs that fit the actual brief. Name what is included, what depends on the client and what would require a scope change.

  • A defined document review or research memorandum addressing the agreed questions.
  • An issues list that distinguishes commercial decisions from matters needing legal advice.
  • A documented handover covering open questions, assumptions and any agreed follow-up.

Show relevant evidence

Explain your own contribution and use only samples you have permission to share. A focused example is easier to evaluate than an unrelated collection.

  • A public or fictional writing sample without privileged client material.
  • Accurate qualifications and professional registration details where applicable.
  • A description of the legal systems, document types and industries you can support.

Ask the questions that change the scope

Question 01

Which jurisdiction governs the matter and where are the parties based?

Question 02

Is the request legal advice, representation, research or document administration?

Question 03

What conflict checks and engagement terms are needed before documents are shared?

Offer only work you are legally entitled to perform. Platform registration is not a professional licence, and a public project brief should not contain privileged documents or sensitive personal facts.

A delivery plan a buyer can review

Milestone 01

Confirm fit and conflicts

Clarify jurisdiction, professional authority and the engagement boundaries before reviewing confidential details.

Milestone 02

Review the agreed material

Work through the named documents and questions; flag missing information and out-of-scope issues.

Milestone 03

Explain the findings

Deliver the agreed redline or memorandum and a clear list of decisions and follow-up questions.

Explain how you price the work

Quote by document type, length, complexity and review rounds. Specify whether negotiations, meetings, representation and ongoing monitoring are included.

Agree the currency, applicable taxes, payment milestones and exclusions. Review Workfry's current expert pricing before applying. A project guide does not guarantee work or earnings.

Illustrative proposal structure

Make the first message specific

Subject to conflict checks and confirmation of the relevant jurisdiction, I can review the named agreement against your stated commercial objectives. I will provide the agreed comments and one review meeting. Representation and advice outside my authorised scope are excluded.

Rewrite the example for the actual brief, your capacity and your verified experience. It is not a submitted application.

Plan for the country you work from

Check local context, working hours and professional authority. Country guides do not imply that all projects originate there or that every expert is eligible for cross-border work.
