Add WorkFry to ChatGPT
- Open your assistant’s connections
In ChatGPT, open Plugins (or Apps in some versions). Add a custom connection. If needed, enable Developer mode under Settings → Security and login.
- Add the WorkFry server
Name it WorkFry, then paste this connection URL.

Choose OAuth and Dynamic Client Registration (DCR) if the setup asks. Leave client ID and client secret empty; WorkFry registers the connection automatically.
- Sign in or create your account
When ChatGPT asks to connect your WorkFry account, sign in or choose a free signup. Complete email verification, then select your permissions. Return to the conversation and enable WorkFry.
Custom connections depend on your AI account and workspace settings. A workspace owner may need to enable them first. Your WorkFry dashboard confirms when the account is connected.
Keep the useful context. Stay in control.
ChatGPT can use the permissions you approve to search, read your professional profile and prepare changes. Passwords, verification codes, private contact details and document files stay outside these tools. Open each review on WorkFry to save, apply or publish. You can revoke access from your dashboard.
WorkFry does not charge to connect. Existing application-credit fees and your AI provider’s plan still apply. This guide uses a custom connection; a public directory listing is a separate platform approval.
